Day 85 - 28 Feb.2012 - Porto de Galinhas

Our first day of beach holiday started with a fantastic Northeast-Brazilian style breakfast with plenty of fresh fruits and juices. After that we walked along the beach back in to Porto de Galinhas. The distances along the beach always look so close but it turned out to be a 5 km walk one way. We had a stroll through the centre and had some light lunch at a restaurant with beach view and live music. Then the long way back to the pousada. By now the sun was way up into the sky beating down on us. We made it back home without too much damage to our fair skin and had a decent siesta in our room with sea breeze and the sound of breaking waves. Later on we went to the beach again but not before the sun was comfortably low for us.
The pousada offers a free bus transfer into Porto de Galinhas to go out for dinner, but after today’s activity we did not feel like having much more activities and we opted for a simple dinner at the pool prepared by the pousada stuff. Then night, night.
