Day 53 - 27 Jan.2012 - San Martin de los Andes

We decided to stay an extra day in San Martin de los Andes. This little town was very much to our liking with little traffic, buzz and a relaxed atmosphere. We took again this opportunity to do some fundamental washing in one of the local wash-saloons. We had three machines full of stuff.
As a nice coincidence, the town had today a parade trough the main street with different cultural groups presenting themselves. It started at about 8 in the evening and went on into the night. At about midnight we left the streets and went back to the hotel to have another good night’s sleep.
